New Paving

Patching
There can be many different reasons for making repairs to the asphalt in your parking areas. Deterioration begins with symptoms such as hairline cracking, potholes, root damage, raveling or "alligator" cracking, just to name a few. It is important that these areas be addressed when first seen because they only get worse if they are ignored. Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating can fix these problems very easily using two different methods depending on the repair. By making repairs immediately it will help to eliminate the risk of injury to pedestrians and/or damage to vehicles and will reduce liability to you.
Asphalt Overlay
A typical overlay would place 1 to 1 ½ inches of new asphalt over your existing parking lot. The parking lot would have the same appearance it had when it was new, at a fraction of what it cost to have the original parking lot installed. Cost Effective - Overlaying has a less expensive unit cost per square yard than patching. For this reason it may be more cost effective to overlay. If more than 15% of your parking lot is suffering from "fatigue" or "alligator" cracks, a cost benefit analysis should be conducted and it may be determined that an overlay would be the most economical solution.
Sealcoating
Very effective means of saving maintenance costs on pavement that has begun to show signs of deterioration. The ideal time to seal a road is when deterioration is first discovered; thus saving expensive patching and/or repaving. Sealcoating protects and maintains the life of your asphalt and should generally be done every 3-5 years depending on traffic conditions and weather. Atlantic Southern Paving & Sealcoating has skilled technicians and the latest spray equipment to apply the proper coatings and revitalize your parking areas.
A.D.A. Upgrades
Atlantic Southern Paving & Sealcoating evaluate your premises before someone files a law suit. The money saved will help pay for necessary upgrades to A.D.A. compliant parking spaces, ramps, signage and walkways.It is not always safe to assume that you know what the current A.D.A. requirements are in your area. Federal, state and local municipal A.D.A. requirements can vary greatly. A.D.A. requirements recently changed in one Broward County city between the time the pavement markings were complete and the inspection performed. The work had to be redone to comply with the new code.
Concrete Work
Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating offers both new installation and removal and replacement of curbing, sidewalks, slabs, bollards, and handicap ramps. Our concrete crews exhibit expert finish work which is the most critical step in the concrete application process.
Striping/Signage
The importance of professionally applied pavement markings is often overlooked in the paving industry. However, Atlantic Southern Paving understands that no matter how good the new paving looks on the job, if the striping is not bright, sharp, and clean, the overall impression of the job will suffer. We use top quality materials and skilled crews to ensure that the finished product is a job that we can be proud of. In addition to applying pavement markings, we also offer curb painting, car stop and signage services.
Drainage
We offer both the installation of drainage devices in new parking lots as well as correcting existing drainage issues. This may involve installing or adjusting catch basins, and/or resurfacing or re-grading parking lots. |
