ATLANTIC SOUTHERN PAVING AND SEALCOATING
Michael “Mickey” Curry Sr. started Atlantic Southern Paving back in 1980. In the beginning, the company consisted of just Mickey, who would go out and seal residential driveways with five gallon buckets of sealcoat. Throughout the years, the company has grown to include: asphalt crews, concrete crews, sealcoat crews, office staff and salesmen. In 1993, Pat Daly joined the team as a field superintendent and has been an invaluable asset ever since. Mickey’s sons, Michael and Dan, now serve as the company President and Vice President which has created a family-like environment throughout the company.
This growth can be attributed to two main reasons: The first being that Atlantic Southern Paving really does care about pleasing their customers. (It’s not just a motto!) Providing exceptional service is the norm for this company and not the exception to the rule.
The second reason why Atlantic Southern Paving has enjoyed such success is that Mickey believes in utilizing only the finest materials, workmanship and supervision available in the industry. These materials meet or exceed all state and federal standards and are always applied according to manufacturers specifications.
These qualities have allowed Atlantic Southern Paving to build a reputation that is second to none, which has in turn provided a steady stream of referrals and repeat business of loyal customers. Mickey is proud of this fact because satisfying customers has been the key element of his business plan from the start. While growing in size and experience over the years, he has never lost sight of this original goal.
Mickey is also very proud of the fact that his company is the only contractor in South Florida certified to apply Jennite products; a distinction that was earned by successfully passing a stringent qualifying process.
